A new piece I co-authored with the brilliant Ann E. Fink is now out in Social Science and Medicine, a special supplement sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. (Shout out to the Office of Research on Women’s Health and specifically, Dr. Elizabeth Barr!) Ann and I have different disciplinary training, different comic styles, live in different states, but have a shared love of comics and graphic medicine (and each other). We hope this piece reaches all kinds of folks… students, teachers, researchers, practitioners. The whole special issue, Gender, power, and health: Modifiable factors and opportunities for intervention, is open access. Check it out!
